The PING G440 HL Max is designed for golfers who need help launching the ball higher and maximizing carry — without changing their swing. It retains the oversized, forgiving head of the G440 Max but tweaks internal weighting to help moderate swing speed players get the ball up quickly and carry it further. A 29g 3-position rear weight allows draw, neutral, or fade bias for shot-shape control. The CarbonFly Wrap crown lowers the CG for easier launch and a soft, satisfying impact sound. Free-Hosel technology reallocates mass from the hosel deep into the head, aligning the CG with the swing's natural force line for better launch on every swing.
The lighter overall build features a 46" ALTA CB Blue shaft — 10g lighter than standard G440 configurations — helping moderate swing speed players generate more clubhead speed with less effort. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adjusts loft by ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat. Available only in Soft Regular flex, in 9°, 10.5°, and 12°, right and left hand — purpose-built for players who need maximum height and carry.
