Shipment Insurance Policy

Niagara Golf Warehouse offers optional Shipment Insurance to protect your order while it is in transit. This insurance provides coverage for lost, damaged, or undelivered packages while they are in the possession of the shipping carrier. Shipping insurance is non-refundable after shipment.

What Is Covered

Shipment Insurance covers the following situations:

1. Lost Packages (In Transit)

A package is considered lost if the carrier is unable to locate it and does not provide a delivery scan.
If your package stops tracking or is declared lost by the carrier, we will replace or refund your order.

2. Damaged Packages

If your item arrives damaged due to shipping issues, you are fully covered.
Please provide photos of the damage and packaging so we can process your claim quickly.

3. Undelivered Packages

If the carrier confirms they did not deliver the package and no delivery scan exists, the order will be covered.


What Is NOT Covered

Shipment Insurance does not cover:

1. Theft After Delivery (Porch Pirates)

If the carrier marks the package as Delivered, it is considered successfully delivered.
The insurance does not cover theft, tampering, or disappearance after the delivery scan.

2. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues Caused by Customer Error

Coverage does not apply if an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided at checkout.

3. Items Marked as Delivered

Any shipment showing a carrier-confirmed delivery scan (e.g., “Delivered to Door,” “Delivered to Mailbox,” etc.) is considered delivered and is not eligible for lost-package coverage.


Delivery Confirmation & Proof

  • A package showing delivered status in the carrier’s tracking system is treated as a completed delivery.

  • Packages without a delivery scan may be eligible for lost-package coverage.

  • Claims may require proof such as photos, tracking screenshots, and order details.


Customer Responsibility & Best Practices

To reduce the risk of delivery issues, we strongly recommend:

  • Using a secure delivery address, such as a workplace, office, or staffed location.

  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the package at the time of delivery.

  • Tracking your package regularly using the carrier’s tracking link.

  • Choosing carriers or services that provide real-time delivery updates where available.


How to File a Claim

If you purchased Shipment Insurance and need assistance, please email us with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos (for damaged items)

  • Tracking number and any relevant screenshots

  • Description of the issue
