    Zero-Torque Putters Overview

    What is a zero-torque putter?

A zero-torque putter is engineered so the head has no tendency to rotate open or closed during the stroke. By positioning the shaft over the head's centre of gravity, the face stays square to your target line longer — so a good roll comes from a quieter motion instead of perfectly timed hands. (PING markets its Scottsdale Tec line as "low-torque" — same principle, slightly different execution.)

Who should use a zero-torque putter?

It helps most if you tend to push or pull putts, especially under pressure — the fingerprint of a face rotating when you don't want it to. If your misses are more about speed and distance control, a high-MOI mallet may serve you just as well. Match the putter to your miss.

    Zero-torque vs. low-torque vs. high-MOI

Zero-torque removes face rotation; low-torque (like PING's Scottsdale Tec) minimizes it; high-MOI mallets resist twisting on off-centre hits. They solve overlapping but different problems — our team can match the right one to your stroke.
