The PING G440 Hybrid is engineered with a specific purpose at every loft — not just a single head shape scaled up and down, but a purpose-designed bias built into each club based on where it sits in your bag. The 2-hybrid (17°) carries a fade bias for tee-shot control and lower, more penetrating flight. The 3 (20°) and 4 (23°) are neutral, providing high launch and stopping power for long approach shots. The 5 (26°), 6 (30°), and 7 (34°) carry a draw bias and high launch for seamless gapping into your scoring irons — making the transition from hybrid to iron feel natural and consistent.
The face is 8% shallower and 6% thinner than the previous model, producing faster ball speeds and easier launch especially on high-face contact. Free-Hosel technology saves 4 grams at the hosel and heel, dropping the CG by 12% for more stopping power from the fairway. The CarbonFly Wrap crown removes weight from the top and repositions it low and back for added forgiveness. The contoured sole with slim back weight sits flush at address across all lie angles. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 provides 8 positions of loft and lie adjustment. Available in 2 through 7 (where noted), Soft Regular through Extra Stiff, right and left hand.
