Product Description
The PING i540 with graphite shafts delivers the same advanced players distance technology as the steel version, with the added benefit of a lighter overall weight that helps golfers with moderate swing speeds generate more clubhead speed and carry distance. The forged, variable-thickness maraging steel face is 9% thinner for metal-wood-like face flex and faster ball speeds. Tungsten weighting along the sole of the 4–7 irons lowers the CG for higher launch and better stopping power. inR-Air Technology uses an air-pressurized TPU insert behind the face for improved sound and feel without restricting flex, while i-Beam Technology adds structural support across the cavity for consistent feedback.
The graphite shaft option suits players who want the precision and control of a players distance iron but benefit from a lighter, smoother-feeling shaft — ideal for those transitioning from heavier steel or anyone managing swing speed. Available in Light and Regular flex across the same configuration range as the steel version, right and left hand.
